Color My World

The more Clara grows, the more I can see both a girly-girl side and a tom-boy side. She is so much like her daddy (and not just in her looks.. although she is a complete replica of him).. she loves being outside. Doesn't matter what she's doing... helping me water flowers & herbs, going for walks, playing her little heart out at the playground, splashing in water, or making art in our driveway... she just loves the fresh air.

And I love that about her.

I love how she just gets right up in there and is completely concentrated on her colorful scribbles.

And she absolutely doesn't mind getting dirty.. that is.. until she realizes she's dirty. In this photo I believe she was saying 'wash hands, mama!'... no, she does not like dirt or anything on her hands that isn't suppose to be there.

But there's nothing I love more than sitting out in the sunshine with my baby girl... with our snacks and our juice... and her cute little chalk-covered hands.. drawing pretty pictures. :)

  1. Color my world as well. Your pics and words splashed me happy. Beyond delighted to meet you.

I hope you don't mind if I splash around to get to know you. This looks like a refreshing place to dip into some serious goodness.

You splashed me with encouragement today. I would be honored if you would splash other mommas as well with this post or another fave. We gather for momma notes. I jot some on Mondays, but it's a link up whenever you can kind of link up. Just moms. Sharing our notes. Creating a melody.

  2. Such sweet pictures of your baby girl! How I remember those precious times with my children as well. The chalk on the sidewalk, the paint, the art projects. The playdough all over the rug, lol! Enjoy it, mama! You are blessed!

Thanks for linking up to the "Making Your Home Sing Monday" linky party today! :)

  3. She's absolutely gorgeous, Haley! And who wouldn't love hanging out in the sun with juice and this one.

  4. How you crazy bless so many ... thanks bunches for splashing around with us at momma notes. Lacing up for the race ... hope you'll join us in cheering other moms on.

I'd love to hear from you!
