Let me just say, though, that Clara does eat pretty healthy. We've cut out processed food, and buy organic when we can. And the girl can eat her weight in fruit, but she won't touch a vegetable unless it's pureed into one of these fabulous little pouches. I always offer her whatever we eat, but.. no such luck on the veggies... yet. I suppose she's just too much like I was at that age (sorry mom!). :)
So when I happened to stumble upon the Peter Rabbit Organics fruit and veggie pouches, I was excited (oh the things us mama's get excited over!). And I was hopeful, that my child might actually consume a vegetable. I knew Clara would love the fruit pouches, that was a no-brainer. But the veggie blends would be the true test. And wouldn't you know... she loves them! She even enjoyed the 'Pear and Pea' blend!
Peter Rabbit Organics has 6 different fruit pouches and 5 different veggie blends. Their pouches are all organic and 100% fruit and vegetable. What you see is what you get! Never any added sugar, salt, or artificial ingredients. No hidden ingredients here! And they come in BPA-free pouches, easy for on-the-go grabbing... and a no-choke cap (that's also important to me.. because for whatever reason, Clara loves to screw and unscrew the cap onto the pouch when she's finished with it... easily amused!)
These pouches aren't just good for all you mama's worrying over the fact that your kiddo snubs veggies. But they're also good for snacks, even if you have a kid who does like veggies (or at least eats them.. and I may or may not be giving you the side-eye right now). We always throw them in the diaper bag if we're going to be out and about, or take them in the car on long road-trips, or even just for a healthy night time snack! Our pantry is always stocked with some Peter Rabbit. :)

ReplyDeleteI think Maddy would actually really like the pea, spinach and apple! :)
ReplyDeleteI think my son would love the pumpkin, carrot and apple but he's just not too picky!
ReplyDeleteI think my kids would love any flavor but I'd say the strawberry and banana, Mango, banana and orange and the apple and grape, pear and apple and all the veggie ones. They aren't so much into peaches. But if I can sneak that in there that would be awesome haha.
ReplyDeleteMy son loves these! He gets so excited when I go past them in the store. Even though he will eat all fruits and veggies, I still buy them as his little treat.
ReplyDeleteI would love to try these with my son! He's not a picky eater, but the few times he has tried pouches like this he thought they were hilarious - and tasty! I would love for him to try the pumpkin, carrot apple or the pea, spinach and apple! :)
ReplyDeleteSweet Potato, Corn and Carrots! :) I think it sounds like a great way to get my little girl to eat her veggies!
ReplyDeleteMy little would probably love any of them. She's obsessed with the applesauce pouches and I think it's 90% the novelty of the pouches. ;) And don't worry, it's a very normal phase. My three year old is going through it now. My older girls are 7 and 9 and also went through it as toddlers. They're still slightly picky about some things, but eat a ton of veggies! =)
ReplyDeleteWould love to try any of them...probably the pear and apple would be a good one to start with.
ReplyDeletehard to pick...but I'm sure strawberry and banana would be a winner!
ReplyDeleteI am going to guess and say the pumpkin apple and carrot. She has not stated solids yet but I really only want to feed her organic foods.
